These rankings are SELF-REPORTING and COMMUNITY AUDITED. This is the same system of rankings used by the National Debate Coaches Association to qualify for the NDCA National Championships.

You must DOWNLOAD THE FORM: LD RANKINGS FORM and follow the instructions below. After you have filled out your form, email to bietz@victorybriefs.com.
We will update the rankings on the 1st and 15th of each month from September through May. You must have your form in to Mike Bietz by the 27th and the 12th to be included in the 1st and 15th, respectively. If you have no changes, you do not need to submit a new form.
Instructions
- 1. Make sure you fill out school name, your name and the year of your graduation2. Fill in the name of your five best tournaments3. For each tournament put in the number of teams – will not exceed 1004. Fill in the Diversity of Tournament Multiplier – use the chart in Column E to figure out the tournament DTM5. Fill in your Prelim Wins6. Fill in your Prelim Losses
7. Fill in your Elimination Success Multiplier – use the Chart in Column E to figure out your ESM
8. DO NOT change any values in Column G
9. Any tournament not listed above should still be included. Please make sure you post the Tournament Name, Number of teams and DTM to the “Rankings Category” on the VBD Forums
