A Note on the Videos & The 2006 TOC Final Round
Posted by Bietz in the Videos categorySANTA MONICA, CA - Alas, you will find no conspiracy here. For those of you who love conspiracy theories, I would recommend going to the Conspiracy Museum in Dallas.
The truth is that we are reluctant to put up the final round video because Mr. Hess’ microphone is not on in the final round. And, according to Min, the octafinal round (Weeks v. Shields) is completely messed up. Here is the final round video.

VBD Video Coverage: TOC Final Round

The round was adjudicated by Tim Averill, Mike Bietz, Nick Coburn-Palo, Cherian Koshy, and Jenn Larson. The panel voted unanimously for the negative. The round was a rematch of the Glenbrooks finalists (David that tournament on a 2-1 decision) and brought their overall record against each other to a 2-2. Its outcome established David as the first Texan ever to win the Tournament of Champions.
