Nationals: A Sense of the Judges
Posted by Jon Cruz in the Nationals 2006 categoryNEW YORK, NY - Nationals — the culminating forensics tournament of the season — is only a few weeks away. Victory Briefs Daily would like to help the qualifiers and their coaches get a better sense of who will be making up the judging pool. Who are you bringing to judge? How does that person judge rounds?
To those attending Nationals, we strongly encourage you to contribute your judging paradigms to the VBD Paradigm Archive. (Said archive will soon have a new and improved home.) If you’d like to have your paradigm appear in the archive, please send it to Jon Cruz.

Posted by Jon Cruz in the NCFL 2006 categoryCHICAGO, IL - We had multiple requests for a vintage piece by Doug Lieb, in which the past NCFL top seed gives some advice on debating at the tournament. Now I’d like to fulfill another frequent request: the reposting of another vintage piece, in which past champion Chetan Hertzig reflected on what it was like to win the title in 1998. Aspiring to win the tournament this weekend? Hertzig may have some advice for you.
