ISIDORE NEWMAN, LA - After battling through stiff competition, Crosby High School’s team of Matthew Carsvell and Jon Slotter and Dulles High School’s team of Prsanth Matthews and Raynard Cruz met in the final round. PHILADELPHIA, PA - Congratulations to Perkiomen Valley High School’s Lisa Kapp and St. Joseph’s Preparatory School’s Ryan Zehner for advancing to the final round of varsity Lincoln-Douglas debate at the University of Pennsylvania Liberty Bell Classic! In the round, Lisa defeated Ryan to claim the title of the long-running tournament.

DES MOINES, IA - Congratulations to Bishop Kelley High School’s Michael O’Connell and Lake Highland Preparatory School’s J.R. Thorsen for advancing to the final round of the Mid-America Cup at Valley High School! On a 3-0 decision — Stephen Hess, Dan Meyers, and Sam Duby adjudicated — Michael defeated J.R. to claim the tournament title.
