WASHINGTON, D.C. — It was announced today that President Barack Obama will be the fourth U.S. President — after Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and Jimmy Carter, the latter of whom won it in retirement — to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

It’s a 5-0 for Franken

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Following a unanimous ruling by the Minnesota Supreme Court, former Senator Norm Coleman conceded to Senator-elect Al Franken.
Governor Tim Pawlenty is expected to certify the Franken’s 312-vote margin of victory sometime later today.
This electoral victory gives the Democratic Party its sixtieth seat in the United States Senate.
