Catherine Tarsney Wins Voices Round Robin

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Jordan Lamothe of the Meadows School and Catherine Tarsney of Saint Louis Park High School emerged from a field of fourteen competitors to compete in the final round of this year’s Voices Round Robin. SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Canfield High School’s Maggie Wagner won the championship of the Ohio High School Speech League State Tournament this weekend, having defeated Jackson High School’s Ellen Martin on a 4-1 decision in the final round.

Mike Fried Wins Florida State Championship

DAVIE, Fla. — The Florida Forensic League State Speech and Debate Tournament concluded this weekend with a final round that featured Pine View School’s William Gilpin and University School’s Mike Fried. In the round, Mike bested William on a 3-2 decision to win the state title.
