EL PASO, Tex.ARMONK, N.Y. — The second annual Bobcat Classic at Byram Hills High School concluded with a final round that featured Hunter College High School’s Charlie Laswell and Scarsdale High School’s Geoffrey Kristof. The round was adjudicated by Eric Fischer, Abdul Beretay, and Lawrence Golden. On a 3-0 decision, Geoffrey defeated Charlie to take the tournament. Congratulations to both debaters!

Geoffrey is coached by Joe Vaughan and Patrick Diehl; Charlie is coached by Noel Selegzi.

The novice Lincoln-Douglas debate division advanced to a partial octafinal round. In the end, the Bronx High School of Science’s Dorian Kaminski and Harrison High School’s Christina Loguidice were declared co-champions. Congratulations to both debaters!

Dorian is coached by Jon Cruz; Christina is coached by Chetan Hertzig.

    in novice, congrats to christina, shai, dorian, and larry – i didnt know what to expect from judging novices, but i was certainly impressed.

    additionally, thank you to those in the tab room for helping to keep the tournament running smoothly, to the point that we were actually an hour ahead of schedule at some point.
