Mike Fried Wins Florida State Championship

DAVIE, Fla. — The Florida Forensic League State Speech and Debate Tournament concluded this weekend with a final round that featured Pine View School’s William Gilpin and University School’s Mike Fried. In the round, Mike bested William on a 3-2 decision to win the state title.

Congratulations to both debaters!

Michael is coached by Steve Schappaugh, Tom Evnen, Ernie Rose, and Kris Wright; William is coached by Shari Dodd.
