Thanks to Bietz, Josh, and Adam for running such a great Round Robin. Thanks especially to Nick Pritzker and his family for having us over to his ranch house on Monday night for the dinner and being really great hosts. The llamas were cool too, obviously.
Congrats to everyone who broke, especially Erik for two good rounds during the tournament. Also a big congrats to Alex for picking up eight ballots and being the five seed.
Avi, keep running the performative case. I’m glad you’ve really gotten behind the cause.

Congrats to Steven and Blay on the breaks.
Congrats to Alex Kennedy on missing the break on a tie-breaker.
Congrats to Erik on being uber-impressive both times I saw you and on winning the round robin.
Congrats to Avi on the performance. Keep doing it, man.
Not congrats to Avi on losing Maddie’s dresses.
And finally, congrats to Maddie on the finals appearance. You are an awesome debater and are so much fun to coach. I know there is one thing (technically two things) you still want to accomplish this year. Your time will come. You’re the shit!

Also, in the spirit of furthering the micropolitical action necessitated by me voting for Avi’s performance, congratulations to Maddie Zhu, Alex, Emily, Uma, and Lizzie on representing for the ladies!
