Field Report: The Glenbrooks
GLENVIEW and NORTHBROOK, Ill. — The fields for varsity Lincoln-Douglas debate, varsity policy debate, and Congressional Debate at the largest high school-sponsored speech and debate tournament in the United States — the Glenbrooks — is available on VBD.
“We are not likely to keep this list up-to-date,” notes Greg Malis. The fields are current as of November 13, 2009.
The judge preferencing system for the Glenbrooks will be open at noon on Tuesday, November 17 and will close at noon on Friday, November 20. All varsity debate judges must have their philosophies posted to the NDCA wiki. “If not,” notes Malis, “their schools lose the ability to rank or strike any judges.”
