Northland Christian Closes Out Spring

MONTROSE, N.Y. — The Spring High School Speech and Debate Tournament attracted fifty-nine Lincoln-Douglas debaters from across Texas and concluded with a close out by Northland Christian School’s Josh Roberts and Jared Woods. (Josh coached over teammate Elizabeth Byrne in semifinals.) Congratulations to Northland Christian!

Josh and Jared (and Elizabeth) are coached by Kevin Roberts, Perry Beard, Sam Duby, Daniel Moerner and Josh Overton.

    Yea I would agree as well this tournament was wayy to easy for Northland Christian to close out…..but congrats they are a good debate team.

    Spring woods was won by Brian Berger from Clear Lake over Philip Yang from Stratford.

    there was an octos round. it took a 2-1 with 88 adjusted speaks to break, and they broke 16 (leaving a lot 2-1’s behind.)

    But when i gave the names to sam, we couldnt figure out who was from what school, so we just put together quarters.
