Max McCready Wins Jack C. Hays Classic
BUDA, Tex. — The twenty-second annual Jack C. Hays Classic attracted a field of forty-one debaters from across the Lone Star State. The final round featured Max McCready of Anderson High School and Jon Buterbaugh of the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy at Lyndon B. Johnson High School.
On a 3-0 decision, Max defeated Jon to win the title. Congratulations to both debaters!
Max is coached by Joseph Uhler; Jon is coached by Malhaz Jibladze and Cody Gray.
