THE VICTORY BRIEFS INSTITUTE — The main session of VBI@LMU concluded with a face-off between two debaters who competed in the elimination rounds of this past season’s National High School Tournament of Champions as juniors. On the affirmative, Walt Whitman High School’s Ben Lewis. On the negative, Saint Louis Park High School’s Catherine Tarsney.
Tim Case, David McNeil, Becca Traber, and Peter D. Van Elswyk affirmed; Jake Nebel, Danielle Smogard, and the combined student vote negated.
