NEW YORK, N.Y. — Victory Briefs Daily is now on Twitter. Please follow us at vbdaily.
This week at Nationals, we hope to use the Twitter to help collect information and codes as the tournament progresses. We will tweet on Twitter and post on this web site with updates all week long.

I got 2 emails to my personal email address inviting me to use Twitter. I have never used Twitter before. What caused these two emails to be sent? Was it something that triggered from my old membership on the forums/wiki?

I got the emails as well but am not a member of the forums or wiki. I think that it might have been a result of actually posting a legitimate email address when you post.
But that is just a guess.

i got two as well, as did some people i know who are no longer active in the vbuniverse. twitter is stupid and so is spam.

Actually, I just invited everyone in my address book. I had meant to send one for my personal Twitter and one for the VBD Twitter. (I’ve really gotten into Twitter.) Sorry if the e-mail was an inconvenience. Don’t worry, your posts on here aren’t causing any sort of sinister spam, and I don’t plan to send a mass invitation out like that again for anything.
