Georgetown to Host 2010 NDCA Championships

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The board of the National Debate Coaches Association is pleased to announce that the NDCA National Championships will be held on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, DC on April 17-19, 2010. The tournament host is Jonathan Paul, director of debate at Georgetown. And, once again, we are pleased to say that Tim Mahoney of the St. Mark’s School will return as our tournament director.

The tournament will feature Policy, Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum debate. The Baker Trophy and the Dukes & Bailey Trophy will be awarded to the top ranked entry attending the tournament in the Policy and Lincoln-Douglas divisions, respectively. The top ranked team is determined by the formula used to calculate qualifiers to the tournament. If you have questions, please contact Tim Mahoney.
