Pat Donovan Wins Second NDCA Championship

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Glenbrook North High School’s Patrick Donovan, who closed out the 2008 National Debate Coaches Association Championships with then-teammate Jon Posner, won the NDCA title in his own right this weekend after defeating Greenhill School’s Tanya Thanawalla in the final round. Congratulations to both finalists!

Pat is coached by Greg Malis, Ari Parker, Mike Roytman, Jeremy Schifberg, and Christina Tallungan; Tanya is coached by Aaron Timmons and Neil Conrad.

Congratulations are also in order for New Trier High School. The team of Joey Glickman and Zach Collins and the team of David Walchak and Joe Eichenbaum closed out the final round of Public Forum debate and the four debaters were accordingly declared NDCA co-champions.

Joey, Zach, David, and Joe are coached by Linda Oddo and Michael Greenstein.
