CONGRATULATIONS TO ALON ELHANAN AND LAURA MASCHLER FROM BRONX SCIENCE! I am so proud of you both for earning your first bid as a team this weekend. Laura, you are on the road to returning to the TOC this year, and Alon, after an incredible four-year run in extemp (capped off with a big win at Wake Forest!), earning your first bid in four *tournaments* is pretty unbelievable. Great job by both of you!
Special congratulations to Great Neck South’s Shelli Gimelstein and Joey Yagoda for making it into the elimination rounds. And I think we should all be floored by the collection accomplishments of Team Regis and coach Eric Di Michele. Wow.
There are many to congratulate here — I know just about every single one of these folks personally, and they’re awesome folks indeded — but I want to single out MHL alumni Jonathan Bowyer, Alli Gofman, and Jared Young on a job particularly well done. And, of course, congratulations as always to honorary Bronx Science debater Dylan Scher. :o)

Congrats to all…also I guess someone needs to say what a wonderful job tab did this year. No offense to last year but all of the troubling characteristics of last years tourney were fixed, and the tourney was brought to a whole new level.
The schedule was comfortable, but not too long. The judging, for the most part, was excellent, the competition was awesome, and TAB definately made times easy to work with…thanks again

PF Awards are currently up. We are straightening out the website for speech (a slight crash and recreation of prelims… hence the delay in Awards). As soon as I get the result packets from LD and Congress, they will go up online and I will send out an email to the coaches, alerting them of that fact.
In reading the comments, it appears that we got it way right this year for the tournament. Incredible thanks to Jim Menick and Joe Vaughan running an incredibly tight LD tournament, as well as Jon Cruz finding us some great judges. We were very careful this year to make sure that LD had the best hired judges possible.
Super thanks to Barb and Jonathan in Speech Tab and Dave in Extemp Prep for running a superior tab experience.
Carl Klein and Barb McCain ran a superior ballot table, catching every error that could’ve screwed us up and slowed us down.
Bill Cooper, as always, was able to push Congress well and we had a superior pool of judges and parlis.
And, the great joy I always have at Princeton (besides the campus and the experience) was working with Bro. John as we efficiently and effectively sliced-through the schedule.
This tournament was in the planning stage back in March. Dan, Dan, and Rush wanted to make it the best Princeton ever… from the schedule, to the judging, to the awards, to the overall experience… I think that they succeeded.
We are already starting to talk about how to make it even better next year. Any suggestions on what we can improve upon and comments on what we did well and should keep would be really greatly appreciated.

I think Princeton did a great job of improving its judging pool this year. Rounds that used to be a 2-1 decision with two parents on top were instead 2-1 decisions with two x-debaters/coaches on top. Also, I would like to congratulate Great Neck South on impressive performances both in LD and Public Forum. Congratulate Sachin, Castro, Karlyn, and Shireen on solid performances this weekend. Lastly, thanks to all the college students who came to judge this weekend and made my judging all the more enjoyable.
