I enjoyed looking at the old pictures of Regis that they were displaing, back when freshmen looked about 48 years old (why did everybody look so ancient back in the 40s and 50s?). Then there were old pictures of Eric, who when he had a dark beard sort of looked like Jim Henson (except the Regis never looked much like Muppets). It was quite an event, and a well-earned honor. Eric is smart and nice and a true gentleman. I always love doing our CFL tournaments down at Regis, and I love that he stocks the judge lounge not only with food but with judges (half of them from the federal judiciary!). 25 years... Well done!
