Come to the Crossroads of the Revolution
CLARK, N.J. — The Arthur L. Johnson High School Speech & Debate Team is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the first-ever Crossroads of the Revolution Debate Tournament. The Tournament will be held at Arthur L. Johnson on January 9 and 10, 2009. “Registration is open at Joy of Tournaments until December 23 or until we fill our available space,” notes Bill Cooper. “We feature Varsity and Novice divisions in LD, CX and PF, as well as Student Congress. This tournament is a great opportunity to start the New Year…. We’ll see you at the Crossroads of the Revolution in January!”
The tournament will use the January/February topic for Lincoln-Douglas debate, the January topic for Public Forum debate, and the 2008-2009 topic for policy debate. “We have a number of housing slots available,” Cooper notes, “and promise quality food and competition for all who attend.”

Alex has it right.
Actually, so does Paco.
We could have called it the “fuhgeddaboutit” tournament, but that doesn’t have the same cachet.
That and we’re 6 miles north of the Crossroads of NJ–I-95-NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
