Clark Hildabrand Wins Homewood
HOMEWOOD, Ala. — The 2008 Patriot Forensic Classic at Homewood High School broke to semifinals in varsity Lincoln-Douglas debate. One bracket contained a face-off between Battle Ground Academy debaters; the other contained a face-off between Mountain Brook High School debaters. Accordingly, the tournament advanced immediately to the final round, which pitted Battle Ground’s Clark Hildabrand against Mountain Brook’s Mary Sellers Shaw. In the round, Clark defeated Mary Sellers on a 5-0 decision to take the tournament. Congratulations to both debaters!
Clark is coached by Charles Oakes, Jim Miller, Sandra Davis, and Cheryl M. Ward; Mary Sellers is coached by Jeff Roberts.
