The idea that Monticello's tab staff only cared about or listens to "big name" schools is simply pretty ridiculous if you actually know the people who were tabbing. Also, its not like Thurm stormed into the tab room and demanded to clear. Nisky was fully upfront with the problem. A mistake was made, both parties ackowledged it, and it was rectified. Unfortunate, but stuff happens.

I think you are being patently unfair in suggesting that the action to correct the bracket would only be done for a team such as mine. In fact, I didn't even know about it as I was in the middle of the AC of the doubles round I was judging when i found out so it certainly wasn't me putting any pressure. what happened was:

The people who tabbed cared to do the right thing when the error was brought to light AND the Monticello staff backed them up.

Making a claim that the tab staff and the Monticello squad only cares about the 'big squads' is a slap in the face to some very dedicated and wonderful people whom I am happy to call my friends. Please think about what you say and the implications of your accusations before you make such statements.

Good job to Thurm and Seiden. These two worked harder than anyone this summer. This is the beginning of a very dominant scarsdale season.

Based on what seems to have happened, congrats as always to the Bronx and Scarmy showings -- though that's hardly a surprise at this point. Congrats also to Ali for a strong bid showing!
