Carter Bielen is the 2008 Saint James Champion
MONTGOMERY, Ala. — In finals at Saint James School’s Raymond B. Furlong Tournament, Mountain Brook High School’s Carter Bielen — pictured with Claire Herren, his teammate — defeated New Orleans Jesuit’s Micah Boyd on a 2-1 decision.
Congratulations to both debaters!
For winning the tournament, Carter was awarded the Michele K. Coody Championship Trophy. Carter advanced over his Claire, the defending champion, in the semifinal round.
Carter is coached by Jeff Roberts; Micah is coached by Travis Smith.
