Registration Opens for the Rex Fleming Memorial

HOUSTON, Tex. — The Rex Fleming Memorial Tournament at Houston-Memorial High School is now open for registration. The tournament dates are September 26 and 27, 2008; it is a TOC-qualifying tournament at finals for Lincoln-Douglas and semis for policy debate.

“We have had excellent competition and hospitality at this event for the past five years, and we intend to maintain a quality tournament,” notes tournament director Cecil Trent. “We are excited that for this year, all Varsity Policy Debate rounds will be held at the nearby Kinkaid School, so it will be double the fun.”
