A Debate-Packed Day

LOS ANGELES, Cali. — Today’s schedule was straightforward. While our incredible corps of thirty-two first-time debaters — all of whom will learn the ropes here at VBI Session II@UCLA — participated in the Novice Symposium with Kyle Fleeger, Amanda Liverzani, and Jon Posner, the varsity debaters had their first two seminars this morning. Following lunch, students met in lab groups for the first formal session. And following labs, the entire student body was able to participate in the program’s first installment of Socrates Hours.
