Ravi Sankar to be Honored by the President

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ravi Sankar of Trinity Preparatory School has been named a United States Presidential Scholar. The Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964, “by executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. In 1979, the program was extended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative and performing arts.”
This is one of the very highest honors that can be bestowed upon a high school student. This is also Ravi’s second time being honored by President Bush.
