Four Re-elected to NFL Executive Council
RIPON, Wis. — Four seats on the NFL Executive Council were up for election this year, and the four incumbent members who ran for re-election have retained said seats.
NFL President Billy Tate of Montgomery Bell Academy, Kandi King of Churchill High School, Tommie Lindsey of James Logan High School, and Pam Cady Wycoff of Apple Valley High School received the most votes from NFL chapter schools.
“According to the NFL constitution,” noted the National Forensic League in a press release, “half of the board faces election every two years. Councilors Don Crabtree, Glenda Ferguson, Harold Keller, Pam McComas, and Bro. Rene Sterner were not up for reelection and will continue to serve on the NFL Executive Council.”
541 member school ballots were received; each school’s voting power was based upon its degree strength. The results were as follows:
1. Pam Cady Wycoff — Apple Valley High School (64,015)
2. William Woods Tate, Jr. — Montgomery Bell Academy (43,571)
3. Kandi King — Churchill High School (39,995)
4. Tommie Lindsey, Jr. — James Logan High School (39,995)
Tim Sheaff — Dowling Catholic High School (28,662)
Chris McDonald — Eagan High School (15,076)
Adam J. Jacobi — Rufus King High School (14,196)
Steve Meadows — Danville High School (11,148)
Bill Cooper — Arthur L. Johnson High School (9,532)
