Omar Qureshi is Missouri State Champion
COLUMBIA, Mo. — Omar Qureshi of Monett High School debated Laila Khan of Neosho High School in the final round of the 2008 Missouri State High School Activities Association Debate Tournament. The championship, held on the campus of Columbia College of Missouri, drew top competition from across the state. On a 2-1 decision, Omar defeated Laila to win the Missouri title. Congratulations to both debaters!
