I compiled a list of how they were asses in that round:
1. Calling opponent Constitution hater
2. Telling your opponent in response to a question say it in their speech
3. Playing hangman while their opponents spoke.

While I haven’t seen the round I have seen the state champions debate before and they impressed me as a rather legit team. Even if their victories against Catterton or Rasheed were unlegit (I don’t know if they were) that doesn’t change the fact that they are awesome debaters.

And since you are the teammate of the finalists and you’ve seen the ballots but not the round itself, I don’t know how accurate your account of the round is.

Ummm… the “champions” in Parli won because the opp team was mean in the POI’s. I saw the ballots.

They dropped a mutlipoint straight turn on their case. State champions my ass.
