Thanks to Ali and Perspectives for organizing a very competitive and fun round robin.

I am certainly glad I had the opportunity to participate, especially for the opportunity to judge at Perspectives’ Voices tournament on Saturday, which was a superb event for Perspectives students.

I just wanted to take a second to say a quick thank you to everyone who made the Perspectives Round Robin possible. First, to the competitors, who were wonderful participants, but also great sports about judging the Saturday tournament. Second, to the judges, particularly Jacob Levi, Sean Mumper, Alex Weintraub, Jon Kwan, and Tom Pryor, all of whom judged for free on Friday as a way to give back to debate.

But perhaps most importantly, thanks to my friends and Perspectives partners in crime: Lilly Deng, Alexander McCobin, Katie Poulos, Alex Anderson, Alok Choksi and Ben Grunwald–none of this, from the round robin, to the tournament, to even having students or Perspectives to begin with, would be possible without all of you.

Thanks to everyone who made this event possible and, of course, congratulations to Nikita and JP!

This was an awesome event as was the Drexel tournament the following day. Major congrats to Nikita and JP and a big thanks to Ali, Alex M, Lili and the rest of the Perspectives staff for putting the weekend together - it was a blast.
