Bhutani, Ahmed Keep Title at Lake Highland for Fifth Straight Year
BOCA RATON and FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Lake Highland Preparatory School’s Gurdane Bhutani and Hana Ahmed have closed out one of the largest and most competitive tournaments in their home state of Florida: the Crestian. Congratulations to the co-champions! This victory continues a most impressive streak: Lake Highland has had champions or co-champions at this tournament in every year since 2003.
Gurdane and Hana are coached by George Clemens.

From what I remember, Durham JE advanced to octas, Hillsborough SC advanced to octas and in fact quarters I think (lost to Hana?). My pairings were stolen so I really can’t remember the rest.
