1. IT IS SUPPOSED TO RAIN! Please bring appropriate attire to deal with rain.
2. PARKING: To park at UCLA you MUST HAVE A PERMIT. PERMITS cost $8.00 for an all-day pass. With this pass you may come and go from the parking structure. Please park in PARKING 3 (on the map). MIKE BIETZ WILL HAVE 50 PARKING PASSES AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL ON FRIDAY NIGHT. We have done this to try to eliminate some hassle for you on SATURDAY MORNING. Please have cash for Mike when you register and he will give you your parking pass. If you cannot make it on FRIDAY to registration, you will have to purchase a parking pass at the INFORMATION BOOTH as you enter the campus. This booth often has a line and may take some time. It is recommended you purchase from Mike on FRIDAY NIGHT.
On SUNDAY parking is easy. Just remember that Brentwood is DOWN THE HILL on Barrington Place.
3. LUNCH AT UCLA: We have built into the schedule time to go to either Westwood or to Ackermann Union for lunch. PLEASE be prompt for this meal. Westwood has many restaurants (such as In ‘n Out). We would suggest any meal you get, you get to go. Ackermann Union is a bit closer than Westwood and has a number of “food court” type places (Panda Express, etc)
4. LUNCH AT BRENTWOOD: We have built into the schedule time to go to Brentwood Village for lunch. Like on Saturday, we’d ask that you try to make your lunches quick.
5. WHILE ON EACH CAMPUS, please remember that we are guests. Do not destroy property.
