Congratulations to Shadman and Tess on their final round appearances, Marc on semifinals, and Alex Bores on a very, very well-deserved first bid. I don’t know the rest of the results yet, but I know Team Scarsdale performed quite well and I’d like to congratulate them as well.

Most of all, I’d like to congratulate Matt Dunay on a very well-deserved and hard-fought first bid. Matt, your work ethic inspires all of us. Great job! Special shout outs to Seth, Melanie, and Vineet on advancing to outrounds as well.

    Octas
Bronx MD def Lexington JZ 2-1 (Mumper*, Morales, Bores)

    Quarters
Millburn TM def Nisky SD 3-0
    Collegiate MW def Hunter AB
Sacred Heart SZ def Scardale MM
    Bronx MD def ????

I was first speaker and top seed, the only other speaker I can remember it Tess was 6th I think.

Major congrats to Marc, you definitely deserve this bid more than pretty much anyone I know. It’s a good job you suck at predicting your own record because you definitely weren’t 1-4 going into rd 6.

Also congrats to Tess on an amazing tournament, you are an awesome preson and I’m glad to have met you.

I’m sure I’m leaving out plenty of people because I don’t have full results but congrats to everyone who cleared and those who bid.

    LEIA
Luke, don’t talk that way. You have a power I–I don’t understand and
    could never have.

    LUKE
You’re wrong, Leia. You have that power too. In time you’ll learn to
use it as I have. The Force is strong in my family. My father has
it…I have it…and…my sister has it.

    LUKE
    Yes. It’s you Leia.

    LEIA
    I know. Somehow…I’ve always known.

    LUKE
Then you know why I have to face him.

    LEIA
No! Luke, run away, far away. If he can feel your presence, then leave
this place. I wish I could go with you.

    LUKE
No, you don’t. You’ve always been strong.

    LEIA
But, why must you confront him?

    LUKE
Because…there is good in him. I’ve felt it. He won’t turn me over to
the Emperor. I can save him. I can turn him back to the good side. I
    have to try.
