SANTA MONICA, Cali. — Victory Briefs will be providing coverage of this weekend’s tournaments taking place around the country.
- The Kaiser (Monticello): Scarsdale’s Daniel Daks defeats Stuyvesant’s Jared Dummitt on a 4-1. (The tournament presented the first annual Rose Joyce-Turner Spirit of Debate Award to Robbie Grabowitz earlier in the evening.)
- Long Beach: Meadows’s Amanda Signorelli defeats Torrey Pines’s Vivian Feig on a 2-1.
- Liberty Bell Classic (UPenn): Ridge’s Stephanie Caravias defeats Hunter College’s Alex Bores on a 4-3. In the J.V. division, Regis’s Matt McNierney defeated Pennsylvania Leadership’s Andrew Pitts.
- UPenn Round Robin: Ridge’s Stephanie Caravias defeats Upper St. Clair’s J.P. Gooderham on a 4-3.
