Megan Herbert is FSU Champion

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Congratulations to the finalists at the inaugural Florida State University Gregg Phifer Invitational Forensics Tournament, which was held this past weekend. The final round of Lincoln-Douglas debate was a face-off between Lafayette High School’s Megan Herbert and Jupiter High School’s Kate Ferguson. Megan defeated Kate to win the first-ever FSU title. (Coaching credits follow; we are awaiting full results from the tournament staff.)

Megan is coached by Shane Guilbeau. Kate is coached by Michael Deleonardo and Kristen L. Taylor.
