Jacob Levitt Wins Inaugural AU Title
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American University Debate Society hosted the first ever American University Debate Invitational this weekend in the nation’s capital. The final round was representative of the fine competition drawn from across the region. It pitted Walt Whitman High School’s Jacob Levitt against Archbishop Carroll High School’s Anthony Myers. On a 6-1 decision, Jacob defeated Anthony to claim this new title. Congratulations to both! (Coaching credits and the results from outrounds follow.)
Jacob is coached by Anjan Choudhury, Tanya Choudhury, and Elyse Lyons. Anthony is coached by Fr. William Montgomery and Preston Spradling.
