David Donatti and Usha Sahay
LOS ANGELES, Cali. - Tonight, as part of the closing ceremonies for VBI Session II@UCLA, students were treated to a showcase round between two very talented rising seniors: David Donatti of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School and Usha Sahay of Millburn High School. A panel of Josh Anderson, Dan Jennis, and Liz Scoggin adjudicated the round. On a close 2-1 decision — Jennis dissented — David was declared the victor.
Following the round, Tommy Clancy, Wesley Craven, and Josh Anderson shared some wisdom and reflected on the conclusion of this year’s camp. Afterwards, Tommy introduced the final segment of the evening: the traditional slide show prepared by me and Mike Bietz.
