This Morning: Modules & Labs

Ben Sherman and Jared Bigman
LOS ANGELES, Cali. - Students began their day with the seventh module session of Session II@UCLA. Their options this morning included “The A Priori: Its Uses and Misuses” with John Lewis, “Defending Critical Positions” with Petey Gil-Montllor, “Moral Relativism in Debate” with Liz Scoggin, and “Strategy is Persuasive: Debating for a Lay Judge” with Jon Cruz. After a brief break, students proceeded to a morning lab session. Today’s labs focused not simply on drills, and not simply on preparing students for this afternoon’s practice debate, but on intensive work in anticipation of tomorrow’s three practice rounds.
I would normally post a review of some meal item, but alas, I forgot my meal card in Hedrick Summit and discovered this when on the line to get into Rieber Hall. Blah.
