This Morning: Modules & Seminars

LOS ANGELES, Cali. - This morning, each student will be attending a module of her choice. The options include “Engaging in and defending Against Preemptive Debate War” with Ryan Lawrence, “Free Market Capitalism and Its Critics” with Dan Jennis, “Resolutional Implementations: Fiat, Solvency, Worlds” with Josh Anderson and Tommy Clancy, “Strategic Mechanisms in the AC” with Ryan Cooper, and “Winning Standards Debate” with Wesley Craven.

Following this second module session, students in Josh Anderon’s “International Relations,” Petey Gil-Montllor’s “Post-Enlightenment Ethics,” and Ryan Lawrence’s “Revolution!” will attending the concluding meetings of their seminars. During both the modules and seminars, students in the novice lab will pick up with a review of logic as a lead-in to formal refutation. Following this introductory lecture and discussion, the rest of the morning will be spent on refutation exercises and drills.
