Vassar Round Robin Field Released
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Jon Cruz has announced the field of the 2007 installment of the Vassar Round Robin. The tournament provides a forum for top up-and-comers in the debate community — those entering their third (or second) year in Lincoln-Douglas — to compete amongst peers in a highly educational, championship environment.
As the first round robin field to be released this year, the annual caveat ought to be included: the purpose of releasing the field is informational. Such announcements should be celebrations of those who were invited, not a forum to criticize those who will attend. All will hopefully keep this in mind as round robins are announced throughout the year.
