WICHITA, Kan. – In front of the thousand assembled at the Awards Ceremony of the 2007 NFL National Tournament, National Secretary Scott Wunn presented Dr. Rich Edwards with the NFL Humanitarian Award.
Edwards wrote TRPC, the software used to tabulate large debate tournaments at countless high school and college speech and debate tournaments. He is Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Baylor University and has had long-term involvement in both high school and college debate. (Indeed, Edwards debated in high school and competed in extemporaneous speaking, original oratory, impromptu speaking, and radio speaking.)
