Congrats to Joseph on completing his qual and to David for earning his first bid. You both are tremendously smart and I’m sure will continue to have great success.

That is a very generous thing to do.

Nice job Strake, congratulations to all who broke, to Joseph for TOC qual, to David for breaking the string of close misses with his TOC bid.
Congratulations to Patrick for 3 consecutive TOC tournaments without a loss, likewise to Nathan for going undefeated 2 weeks in a row, and generous concessions to teammates by both.
Good job everyone! And thank you Ajay and Jon for reporting results.

thanks.
but we should also give credit to patrick, who’s volunteered to concede to teammates 3 bid tournaments in a row.
this team wouldn’t even come close to its level of success were it not for patrick, either through his selflessness at tournaments or his “strong like stalin” practice regiments.
so, thanks patrick

Congrats to strake on one hell of a tournament. David gave some of the tightest speeches i’ve heard all year (well-deserving of a bid). Great qual Joseph…the toc just got much stronger.
And large congrats to Ryan a great run through the tournament. Toc bids will be flooding your way in the near future. You and and danielle have worked so hard and have become two of the best sophmores i have ever seen. I am lucky to be able to coach you both.

I second David’s comment about Patrick. That sort of cooperation and selflessness is what keeps our team competitive.
