Congratulations to Scarsdale for another amazing performance — and let me scoop Jon Cruz on this one. With Ken Hershey becoming fully qualified to TOC, that puts Scarsdale at 7 fully-qualified debaters (and a couple of others with 1 bid). This is more than impressive, it is historical — as Scarsdale has just bested College Prep’s record from 1996. Congratulations to Joe Vaughan and his wonderful team!

Todd — check your messages. :o) Policy began today, as the tournament follows a staggered schedule (LD on Fri/Sat, CX on Sat/Sun/Mon, LD RR on Sun/Mon). Since my wireless card is on the fritz, I will likelybe unable to post pictures of the pairings from prelims, but I’ll report live from outrounds.
