Who is that li’l Vanilla Ice?
One of the great benefits of VB Photos is that we are creating a visual record of the tournaments we attend. In 2003 Victory Briefs Daily really found its footing, thanks much in part to Jon Cruz. During 2003, this year’s seniors were just starting to break-out and attending the tournaments we cover. I actually fondly remember Jon grabbing my faux VBD microphone out of my hand and demanding to rap. Originally, I wanted avoid taking such a picture, but he finally just grabbed it. I think that shot is classic.

Has it become an annual ritual that I was kneeling down on my knees in that dumb picture that never seems to leave the internet? And, at the same time, I have to point out that Bietz used visual aids when he debated and that Cherian repeatedly got spread out when he was negative. Alas, i hate that picture so. Can we refocus on this year’s seniors?
