NDR Tournament Cancelled
posted by Jon Cruz on February 22nd, 2006
ARLINGTON, TX - Jeb Puryear announced yesterday that the NDR Tournament, scheduled for March, has been cancelled.
“I have always felt if it couldn’t be done right, I wouldn’t hold it,” explained Jeb Puryear. “A combination of factors such as administrative problems and lack of entry depth prevent it from being done right this year. Thank you to those that have supported the idea through the year. This is not to say the NDR itself are defunct, although it may look that way from lack of updates. “

Every day, I look at NDR, every day I wait for NDR,only to come face to face with the realization that its the same. same same same old. When will you change when will you move forward, when will you live up to my dream. When NDR? When?

I understand and appreciate what Mr. Puryear does, but I royally got the shaft by this cancellation. I’d be surprised if I was the only one having to pay cancellation penalties for airfare and lodging. I would have loved a bit more of a notice or at least a warning that the tournament *might* be cancelled.

why cancel? we are talkin a trip to dallas! theres so much fun stuff to do up in big d. and everyone needs a vacation. shafted, you say? just as long as you dont tell the ‘rents, you got yourself a free weekend in one of the coolest cities around. at the very least, you can scope the area for hot spots, so come nationals time, you wont have to waste 5 days figuring out all the good places.

Does anyone have Jeb’s email address? I debated with Jeb in Junior High and Highschool. I was excited to see his name on here, thought I would make contact…
