Stanford Round Robin Announced

STANFORD, CA - John Lynch announced today the participants in the 2006 Stanford Round Robin. In his message relaying the names to VBD, he also wanted to remind readers that there is a standing call for judges at the tournament itself. Congratulations to the ten students invited!

J.W. Patterson Clarifies Dulles Bid Status

LEXINGTON, KY - Several weeks ago, it was announced that the Dulles Viking Rampage would be the guest host of the Isidore Newman Classic’s bids for this season. J.W. Patterson clarified this weekend at the Barkley Forum for High Schools that the tournament has a semifinals bid in both Lincoln-Douglas and policy debate, a correction from earlier indications that the tournament would have a finals bid.

The Dulles Viking Rampage will take place on February 10 and 11, 2006 at Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas.

SANTA MONICA, CA - Congratulations to Rosemount High School policy debaters Carly Hurley and Ian Cero for winning the final round of the Minnesota State Tournament. They defeated the team of Wayzata Thomas Langle and Aneesh Sohoni.
