Second Building To Allow More Lexington Entries

posted by Jon Cruz on December 9th, 2005

LEXINGTON, MA - Lynne Coyne just announced that a second building–Estabrook Elementary School–has been procured for this season’s Lexington Winter Classic. It is located less than a mile away from Lexington High School. This should begin to satisfy the waitlist, which, between divisions, contains nearly one hundred entries. (Indeed, Coyne indicated that thirty novices would be granted spaces now, most likely allowing for double-octafinals in that division.)

“Varsity will also see an increase in numbers once the number of rooms at the middle school are verified. I will release spots as soon as I can,” Coyne explained. “Please enter judge information asap so I can begin the hiring process. Public Forum Debate is still open and populated by students from nine states. E-mails will be sent to all coaches once the changes in schedule are in place.”

Not likely. Schools that haven’t been admitted at all seem to be at the top of the wait list.

    As space permits I guess.

Debating in elementary school kids’ desks and chairs is going to suck a lot.

But Dean, you can fold yourself into an envelope. You should no problems with ‘kiddiegarden’ chairs.
