to answer michael’s question before, it seems like there are more debaters here who were at the TOC than last year. last year it was Matt Scarola, Tara Tedrow, David lebowitz, Michael Baer, Katie Poulos right?

I know the following TOC debaters are at CFL’s this weekend: Tara, Sarah Robinson (Atlantic), Norman Yao (Ridge), Douglas Jeffers (Dulles), Mike Joshi (Lynbrook), Allison Huberlie (Bishop Guertin), Tim Waslh (Trinity Prep), Scott Brainard (Niskayuna), Ben Balter (Glenbrook North), and Greg Ihrie (Walt Whitman). Maybe there are more?

There are also a number of debaters here who received bids, like Ali Deich, Joe Hsu, Sarah Holcomb, Brian Aoyama, Harrison siegel, Shaina Wright, and Tari Owi, and in addition, of course, there are a lot of nat’l circuit debaters who didn’t go to TOC but who compete regularly at travel tournaments

Congrats to everyone who broke–good luck to everyone tomorrow!

And congrats to the Boston diocese, because I had a ton of fun today and Kate and I do a pretty awesome interpretive dance….as many can attest to :).

See everyone tomorrow and good luck!

Code 1053 is Nathan Peabody from St. Thomas Aquinas High School (Overland Park, KS). It’s rare for a KS LDer to clear at CFL nationals; especially rare considering he is/was a novice. He’s good.

1120 is Matt Sharp from Chaminade. 1088 is Ryan Kelley from Holy Ghost. Also, one of the pairings was Matt Yellin v. Doug Jeffers.
