Live from the TOC
In policy debate - the oldest event at the TOC - Westminster’s Anusha Deshpande and Stephen Weil capped off an incredible season by defeating Chattahoochee’s Garrett Abelkop and John Warden in the final round.
The round robin in Public Forum Debate featured Hollie Putam and Heather Campbell of Albuquerque Academy and Eric Carino and Ian Hampton of Torrey Pines. On a 3-2 decision, the team from Albuquerque won the title.
This year, the CTOC moved to Kentucky to join the other events held there. Matt Cynamon of Nova and John Scuito of Christian Brothers Academy-Albany were the respect champion and runner-up this year.

Well, I actually watched the finals round and all I’ve got to say is that the majority of the ppl in that room, including myself, voted for Torrey Pines…if only our votes were counted individually and not as one.

As much as I’d hate to admit it, Hollie and Heather, as a team, prove that our New Mexico circuit is at the top of the game. Wait until you guys meet Candelaria and Zuk. =]

wow, i know this is way after the tournament, but…well apparently i don’t really care.
ian and eric are killers at debate, you are indeed right, connie.
i love them both to death.
and they’re both extraordinarily hot.
