Congratulations to national champions Matt Nadell and Adam Stern of Glenbrook North and to runners-up Chris Sun and Daniel Richards of College Prep on a spectacular conclusion to a week-long journey!
Matt and Adam are coached by Ted Belch and Chris and Daniel are coached by Lexy Green and Nick Coburn-Palo. Congratulations to both!
What a way to retire! Ted Belch has coached the six teams to the championship of the NCFL, six teams to the championship of the TOC, and five teams to the national championship: and, with this year’s win, he is the only person ever (in any form of debate ever) to have students win the Triple Crown in the same year.

congrats to all winners from 14th to 1st. Nadell and stern deserve it. In addition, congrats to morgan parks Aaron Davis and Brandon Hamilton. They came out of no where in inner-city chicago virtually unheard of and claimed victory over zierring and rosecrans to help take them out of the tourney. they r awesomw and a team 2 beat next year.

yeah i second that. Those two kids r awesome. They r just a sophmore and junior and debate better then a lot of teams i know have been doing it longer. Especially the 2ar, it was phenominal in the round against zierring and rosecrans. i vote them as one of the top teams in da country next year better watch out for mopo next year. They have toc written all over them

Yeah there good. I debated them in out rounds. I was at first upset to find myself losing to 2 udl deb8ers but realized that these two were awesome. They deserved to win that round against me and GBN despite what some other people might think. I could go as far as to say they should have won that round against college prep. Anyway, for all those fools who continue to underestimate them, take from someone who wished they didnt, dont. Who’s Mopo gonna take out next?

Me and Aaron r coo. I got to know da kid and his partner over the past week and they r truly awesome. People r quick 2 say dat GBN, or New trier, St. Marks, and College prep r gonna have a break out year next year, but just like they did at nationals, mopo is gonna come back from behind and grap whats rightfully theirs recognition.

Yo, did any one notice dat GBN Nadell and Stern ran da same strategy as zierring and rosecrans did against mopo. College prep even ran a version of mopos case. It was like da same round only, mopo crushed that crazy strat and college prep got creamed. What does that say about mopo ?
