John McNeil Wins the TOC

TOC finalists John McNeil and Tim Hogan
It all came down to this: the final round of the 2004 Tournament of Champions featured Edina’s John McNeil and Apple Valley’s Tim Hogan. The national circuit championship ended with a round between students who attend schools fifteen minutes apart from one another!
On a 3-2 decision, John defeated Tim to claim the 2004 TOC title. The panel consisted of Michelin Massey, David Huston, Sean Mumper, Paul Bellus, and Stephanie St. Amour. The latter two sat out.
John is coached by Mike Bietz. Tim is coached by Pam Cady-Wycoff.

Tim over Will L. was a 3-0 with Stephanie St. Amour, Greg Miller, and Sarah Smith all affirming.
The only thing I judged in that round was that Ashan is the most annoying person to sit next to.
